Our Community
Horton School is situated at the top of the hill in Horton, a small village on the Cotswold Edge in South Gloucestershire, within easy reach of Chipping Sodbury and Bristol. The village welcomes many visitors, who pass through as they walk the Cotswold Way or pay a visit to Horton Court, a National Trust property.

Children come to our school from the village and the surrounding areas. We are lucky to be able to use the village hall and playing field for sports and events, such as our annual play and Easter fair.

A little way out of the village stands the church of St. James the Elder, a pleasant walk from the school for services and celebration throughout the year.

We welcome participation in school life from the villagers, either in attending events, helping out as readers or becoming governors.
