The Friends of Horton School fundraises for and supports the school. The money raised is used to provide resources and contribute to trips and special events, which have a positive and direct impact on the children’s school experience. In recent times, the Friends have funded smaller items such as iPads and books and also enabled funding of larger projects such as the amphitheatre and playground trim-trail.
The Friends of Horton School also organise events for the children throughout the year, including the Christmas party and an end-of-year summer outing.
The Friends also raise funds by organising fun events for all the family, including discos, barn dances, bingo and Christmas fayres.
They meet regularly at Horton Social Club and everyone is welcome. For the next meeting please check the newsletter dates.
