Starting in reception

All prospective parents, whether with children just starting school or changing schools, must apply to South Gloucestershire Council (the Local Authority). This can be done on-line at www.southglos.gov.uk.

Those without internet access can obtain an application form from the School Office, which must be returned to the “Student Access and Support Team” at the following address:

Reception induction

As we are such a small school, we are very flexible in our induction for Reception children. We anticipate that they will begin by attending just morning sessions for the first two or three days. We understand though that parents know their child best and can help decide how quickly they will be able to cope with full days at school. We are happy to help by tailoring the induction period to each individual child.
