Science Week

Posted by

The children had a wonderful week last week. They made volcanoes, towers, pop rockets and musical instruments. I kept finding very excited, rather messy children washing their hands and  eagerly telling me about their experiments. A huge thank you to Mrs. Mansbridge for organising it for us.

Bella: “I thought that the pop rockets were the best! It was fun to see something I could do at home and learn from. They went so high and it fascinated everyone. I will be looking forward to doing science again because this week has made me enjoy it more and I want to continue doing it!”

Barnie: “I liked doing crumble because you could make the sparkles flash different colours and it made me enjoy science more.”

Due to the adverse weather conditions, school is closed today.  Stay warm and safe (but enjoy playing in the snow!).

The amphitheatre has been rebuilt over the Christmas holidays – it looks fantastic!

Residential Camp at Condover Hall

All the children had a fantastic time at camp. They tried a range of activities such as fencing, archery, zip wire and kayaking. In the evenings they went to a silent disco, film night and wrote a diary of their time at camp.
