Whole school trip to Berkeley Castle

We had a wonderful school trip to Berkeley Castle on Tuesday. The sun shone for us which was lovely. The children were extremely well behaved and very interested in everything we did. It is definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been already.

Wow day!

We  started back with our traditional WOW Day based on our topic of Kings and Queens. The children looked fantastic. We did manage to have our parade although it was a little soggy.

World Book Day

World Book Day was a huge success. The children wore some fantastic outfits and were able to talk about their book characters with such enthusiasm.  Thank you to all the parents who clearly made a real effort with the costumes.

Y5/6 sing Christmas carols

Cambrian Green Day Services is a purpose built Dementia Day Centre run by South Gloucestershire Council which provides specialist support for people with dementia in Yate. Our children really enjoyed singing Christmas carols to some of the people who use the centre.
